Varxia is the WebAR platform built by Yueatgreen's technical partner to power its work. Scan a printed piece and the scene it was drawn from stands up off the page — on any phone, straight from the browser.
How it works
Scan the code
The camera opens in the browser. No app to install, no account, nothing to download first.
Point at the artwork
The printed piece is the tracking target — a postcard, a sticker, a poster, a coin.
The scene stands up
A three-dimensional scene locks to the artwork and begins to move. Take a photograph and share it.
Built for print that has to survive the real world
Runs wherever a browser does
iOS and Android, from a QR code, on venue wifi. Assets are cached after the first visitor, so the two hundredth person at a stand loads as fast as the first.
Calibrated on the device
Every experience is tuned against the printed artwork itself, with live controls on the phone that is actually looking at it — not guessed at on a desktop.
One document per experience
An experience is a configuration file, not a bespoke page. Adding one is adding a document; the platform brings the camera, tracking, lighting, capture and sharing.
Five languages
Traditional and Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean — chosen at the edge, before the page loads.
